Rifleman88 28
A few pics of my latest project, bought a Theoben Evolution .20 for £25 as the owner said the stock snapped from pulling the trigger with the barrel broken, also a good coat of rust on it. I repaired/ sanded and refinished the stock, de blued/ re blued the barrel/gun. Only thing is its running at 13ft/lbs, anyone know how to tune down a gas ram? 2 Quote Link to post
moxy 617
You will need to tap the valve with a soft punch and mallet. Very slightly and re chrono. Nice restoration. How did you bond the stock together? Quote Link to post

How did you bond the stock together? I'll give it a go, Waterproof exterior wood glue and a countersunk bolt from underneath, then mixed sawdust and glue to cove the hole, sanded down and you would never know 1 Quote Link to post

Rimfireboy! 1,463
Well done fella. As moxy says, just a light tap or two will bring the power down. It doesn't take much to make a difference in power so beware or you'll be down to six ft lbs before you know it, then, if you haven't got a pump to recharge it you're going to be miffed I reckon. I use the handle of a screwdriver to tap the punch as it's easier control the amount of pressure you're releasing. 1 Quote Link to post
