Il start.. 2 year old. Bred from worker to worker, mostly ferreting, lamping mooching dogs, 21" pics have been put up before.

My whippets. Dam and son

Hopefully these few old pictures and some of recollections from my early teens (the late 1950’s and early 1960’s) may be of some interest. They’re all old style “rag whippets” and pre date the require

And ffs, stop assuming G L needs to listen to anything I've got to say.

He knows more about whippets, hare coursing, and hare coursing with whippets than I do.

i gathered that you don’t work out how to run a dog sat in your chair lol

we on for a giggle next season jan time gl?

you and @chartpolski pop here black neck can be the judge

i’ll give you and chart ten to one odds any whippet you bring gets left in the run up

we can see if a whippet or a coursing bred is the fastest sprinter lol it would be comical lol

What, exactly, do you call a sprint, where running dogs are concerned, Gooey, in your estimation it MUST be about 4-500 yards,!!

I’ve consistently said that the NON-PED WHIPPET is the fastest dog in the world over a sprint distance, 150-200 yards.

Now, you will come back and say “but the non-ped whippet has greyhound in it “, and I’d agree, but as you’ve said in the past that a coursing bred will beat a greyhound in the run up, that should be immaterial.

If you’re not just on a wind up and honestly believe a coursing bred will beat a non-ped whippet over a sprint distance, I cant see the point in having the conversation.

Cheers.

there’s young lads on here with whippets wondering why the only time there ears are pricked and  they are straining  on the lead is the middle a summer when the crops are up lol

You really need to stop all these assumptions, Gooey, it's making you look more stupid than what most of us on here already think you are.  Lol 👍
