If you could get a 25-26 inch pure whippet, you wouldn't need any other dog for hunting. Most of them will tackle anything, even the 19-20 inch whippets. 1 Quote Link to post

When I was a kid I saw my aunties spoilt house pet whippet beat the shit out of and drive away a Ridgeback that was attacking my auntie. Lol Lol, she sure could but that bitch never backed down to anything. She hated the other dogs fighting seriously and would fly in between the Russells and even the bulldogs and had scars from it.
