I went to lots of whippet meetings there over the years. They always had plenty of hares (and fallow!) but from what I remember the 'keeper was a bit of a bellend. He used to insist drives were done in ridiculously complicated ways that didn't have a cat in hell's chance of working. Consequently most of the hares either turned back or slipped out the sides.
