Another thing i noticed in the pic, is the amount of nettles coming up, they must play hell with the dogs feet...sting like hell this time of the year..

My pups ran across a load the other morning, they were hoping from one foot to the next with the stings for an hour or 2 after....lol

Wouldn't of thought a mink would be much hassle for a lurcher.

the dog in the pic is a rabbiter. A good Bullx of mine caught a big dog mink in the water that had been shook from a tree.He took it onto the bank and shook it a lot more until it was dead, but it took some killing. You wouldnt expect a rabbit type dog to do too much with them. Ive dug them with terriers in the past and if they can be reached they were swiftly killed.

I WOULD THINK ANY DOG WOULD TAKE ONE NO PROBLEM,,,, IN MY CASE YOU HAVE A DOG PLAYING WITH FERRETS AND BRINGING RABBITS BACK LIVE,,ETC,,, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU WANT TO MAKE A BIG CHANGE,,,IN LIFE,,,,,,,, IF IT WAS SOME THINK YOU DO REGULAR ANY DOG WUD DO ONE IN SECONDS,,, I WOULD IMAGINE,,
