TITCHY69 10
HI MATE WHAT LAMP AND BATERY ARE YOU USING ???? Quote Link to post
redrob... 0
had same shit happen monday night, the wire had come loose from the solder weld in the conector , strip it down and check conections. Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Is it Lightforce? Quote Link to post
Stabs 3
If it's a clulite, f**k the female housing off from the battery. Cut the male housing off and solder two spade ends to the wires. These fit directly on the battery terminals and they do away with the whole fuse housing etc I found the fuses and stupid wiring accounted for all the lost nights for me. Those fuses I use to buy from Tandy were a load of German shite Quote Link to post
Guest JohnGalway
If it's lightforce I'd take off the original connectors and replace them with those electric lawnmower/strimmer outdoor type connectors. I've removed the fuse completely from my own setup as they kept melting and I've not had a single problem with it since Quote Link to post
suluki 2
i had the same trouble with my light force. even my dogs got p*ssed offin the end. i went home and striped it right down so l had 2 wires going from the battery to the switch then to the bulb. no fuses no fancy connections. its been fine for years! Guest oldskool
the new kid on the block seems to be this new night stalker 180 or 220... its the same design as the lightforce range but i have heard that the conections and cable are much better and there is a silent switch at your thumb instead of the old 'clunk click' trigger button... from what i've read its simply a lightforce with the problems ironed out Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Sounds interesting Oldskool, any link to it by chance? Cheers. Quote Link to post

borntohunt 19
had the same problems with my Lightforce 170 so cut the connector off the end and suck a set of spades onto the ends wired straight to the battery. had no problems since. Quote Link to post
