hi scouse try puting your ferret in a hutch and let your dog sniff it and let it get used to it. i have a likeland that does not like them at all. i have tryed all sorts. but i do not keep ferrets. my mate has them but he does not like me going round with my likeland :laugh::laugh: good luck

I've got a staff mates and shes doesn't really like nothing. But its as though if she knows its mine its hands off. She doesn't like dogs but i could leave her with my 9 week old pup all day and night with out worry, same with my 13 month old one too. Now im not sure i could do this with the ferrets but if im there she will keep her distance. I think if they know your the boss and thats the ferret belongs to the boss then the will respect that. Btw my staff is coming upto four and was just turned three when introduced to ferrets. Snapped for them once and never again. Now she wants to play with them, but shes a little ruff so have to keep her a fair distance away lol Good luck mate

nah it aint too late i introduced my dog about the same age and he never went no where near them cause he knew what he would get

what i did i held my feret and let the dog see it and see that i did't want i dead and then did this a few times and then put it on the floor and the dog seemed fine with them never had any trouble.

all you gotta do is let them see each other but if you dont bother you mite come home to a dead feret one day

all the best
