Poo Indentification

Recommended Posts

Sorry, didn't have my camera with me.

I found a badger latrine in one of the top fields and it was much as I expected. About 20 yards away I found an unidentified poo, not buried.

Not to put too fine a point on it, it was like a giant cat shit and jet black. I have no idea what produced something that size. I reckon big cat, so I'm going to put a trail cam down there later.

If I do get a good photo of a panther, I'll need to zoom right out and blur it a bit like all the other "big cat sightings".

Or was it something less sinister?

Was there a sock near it?

You shoulda picked it up, squeezed it between your fingers, had a really deep sniff of it, tasted a bit, then thank got you didn't stand in it

A local caught short?

Yeah theres been a few sightings of big black cats here over the years..

..or is could just be a big badger turd and those untrained city boy eyes of yours.. :tongue2:

I've seen badger latrines, but I've only ever seen one badger in my life...and that was when I was in Wales on holiday one year. :icon_redface: And if a badger made that, it must have been panther size.

Oh they can get big mate, bigger than foxes.. You'll know all about it when one comes grumbling out the hedge a few yards away from you without notice when you're out in the fields at night! :D You'll see plenty of the feckers here in the west..
