I've put similar post up before but no idea where.  Was doing one today so thought I would put pictures up in Pinned section. Any way it's how to put new collar on Mk1. Hope this might help.

I've put similar post up before but no idea where. 

Was doing one today so thought I would put pictures up in Pinned section.

Any way it's how to put new collar on Mk1. Hope this might help.

Carefully using a junior hacksaw make two cut down to the leather either side of what looks like a weld.

Cut the collar one side of the sensor don't pull it out

Carefully ease the collar out. Might take a bit of wiggling don't force it it's easy to break a side off.

Thread new collar in with cap end toward buckle and D.

Glue the strip back and leave to cure.
