Dead Eyes 681
Some fella round my way has made something (albeit for horses) called 'arcequine' Won a few awards so may be worth a look Quote Link to post
Red Center 165
Had a pig dog jump off the back of the ute at 50km/h and tear his shoulder. I couldn't afford the surgery so I shot him. Vet said the nature of the tear meant he only had 50% chance of it being usable. I still regret not giving him a chance Quote Link to post
arcticgun 4,548
All the tendons and ligaments where wrecked on my young saluki dog initial diagnosis pointed towards PTS or pet home, however took a second opinion ended up reffered to greyhound specialist for treatment mixture of high concentration magnetic therapy and ultrasound treatments this coupled with use of hydrotherapy to help keep dogs fitness levels right during recovery He was back running quarry before the end of the season now I'm not saying this injury as serious as yours is not always worth getting second opinion Quote Link to post
Robie_n 10
His opp was done by a top bone man round hear so I'm confident he's had the best treatment I can give him just the recovery now, he's taking to it better than I expected starting to use the leg softly very slow walking gunna work on that and build it up over the summer hopfully :-D 1 Quote Link to post
terryd 8,385
Good luck with the recovery hope its goes well for you both. I know its hard but do every thing you can to stop it doing any thing out the blue. You know what there like once it starts to feel better it might try a little burst in the house or the yard and even on a lead. Mine only needed about a foot of lead to do some thing silly lol Quote Link to post

There's no pools round hear that a lurcher can use bud but soon as the vet says the skins sealed we'll be looking like twats swimming togeather at the local beach lol Quote Link to post
