Guest pip
I need a stick, thinking of a hazel with a sheeps horn,im going to attempt to make it myself. While hunting the other day on the mountain i came across sheep skulls with great looking horns but when i handled them a bit the outer casing came of as a shell. Are these too far gone to use or can i not use sheep horn or how do i go about it.Thanks sorry if this is a bit silly or if it has been covered before. FPO 0
personally I love holly, Had a wonderful twisted holly for beating for a few years, first drive this year and it snapped though spotted another lovely straight stick on the next week, just got too strip it now. I found sheeps horn once and had the same experiance as you with it coming away in a shell, lovely to polish up though.

Guest pip
I hang em up in the garage rafters clamped between to boards to stop them warping any, been waiting on antlers but can only get big red ones a lot of waste and even at that not a lot even to fit,as you can imagine.
