Following on from your other thread about shooting over ploughed ground, how did you get on? If you ever need a few pointers about woodpigeons let me know nearer to harvest and I'll gladly walk round with you and offer some advice. Might cost you a beer and a packet of scratchings though! :laugh:

It didn't go as well as hoped , the wind was so strong it wasn't worth taking any sort of shot that wasn't very close range so I decided to go up to the woodland in search of squirrels and found a few that i introduced to some .22 hollow points , not a massive fan of eating squirrel so my friends owl has had them as a treat. And I may well have to take you up on the offer are you local to Somerset ?

Yes mate I Will let you in on a secret ! We really enjoy it , we have to sort out everyone's rubbish so we need some enjoyment from it ?

yes and no, cant shoot on the job as such although some places I work I wish I could. If Im working away and can get out somewhere (legit of course) I will, also take fishing rods just don't tell the boss :whistling:

Hand grenades are SO much better. :icon_eek:

I think it's fine to shoot on land without permission. I take my AA TDR into town and shoot ferals from the car while the Mrs is an Ann summers. And all my rifles are shooting about 15-20 FPE :D

I work for kier / Somerset waste partnership based in evercreech but allot of our recycling we collect goes to viridor
