BlueCoyote 0
pussies trapped .....in..jam!! Hey. its florida... gets pretty sticky in the swamps.. and thats all i will say on the matter of stuck sticky pussy...cats. now as for the big cat problem... or non problem.. if it were me.. or if i had a ton of money to blow on the operation i would load up some cat hounds, fly on over and spend the winter out hunting them. why winter? food is a bit more scares. tracking is easier... and i would invite others along for the trip and visit all the areas that had sightings. why not? thats if i had a ton of cash and nothing better to do and who ever said the bit about predators hunting other predators.. you got THAT right!!! you have to change your method. either set up bait and use predator calls, and/ or get a pack of hounds that are well seasoned in tracking and treeing wild cats. whether or not they have been breeding the wild since the days of rich morons with expensive menageries.. or have migrated or never totally became extinct..... you cant say for sure one thing or another until you have an actual body lying at your feet..... and personally.. i would be VERY careful who i told about it.... the government may be right to cover it up to avoid scaring people or causing every idiot that calls himself a hunter just because he owns a gun from stampeding to the woods and shooting at anything that moves..... that would be big trouble dont you think? then again it could be a cover up of another kind... maybe the gov is going behind your backs and releasing some big cats just to see how they would do... if they are talking about releasing wolves into the Highlands and all.... ..trust no one.. And Santa Clause is real... or i should say WAS real. but he's dead now... didnt you know that?

Simoman 110
This subject always gets an interesting responce. I will state that about 10 years ago in the middle of the day in a remote Lincolnshire forest whilst walking my terrier I watched a puma cross a ride in front of me. It was a clear sunny day and I had a clear view from less than eighty yards. I don't give a toss whether anyone believes me as I know what I saw. A couple of weeks after my sighting (which I kept between myself and my wife) a farmer spotted a "large brown cat" and we had the armed police in the forest for a couple of days. There have been sightings since then but i've never seen anything else. I don't believe we have huge breeding populations of feral exotics but I do believe we have a few escapees and releases. As for the evidence, how many times can people say there isn't any????? There are genuine captures of a puma, jungle cats, lynx etc. I have seen lots of footage as for a while I received film via the BBCS. I have watched lots of film that is clearly domestics and many people get carried away which doesn't help the authenticity and credibility but I have seen two pieces of footage which is unmistakable of leopards in Cambridgeshire and Cornwall. My career is working with animals and I KNOW that I didn't mistake my sighting for a roe or fox........ Dawn, you always jump into the cat debates wth the "no evidence" line when there clearly is. What is your problem with big cats? Weren't you allowed a cuddly tiger as child?

Simoman 110
Not sure whats on there but the British Big Cat society used to have some photos and footage on the website. No worries I promise I'm not taking it personally, its only the internet I'm sure if you took a gander on the net or youtube something will crop up apart from the usual crap. The Cambridge footage was shot in 94 by William Rooker if I'm correct Mistakes are easily made, a few years ago I was on holiday in Glean Affric in the highlands, we were in the middle of nowhere when I looked down an incline into a river and saw two black animals killing a sheep, after a second I realised they were two black dogs who turned out to have escaped from a caravan park several miles away but this brief sighting could have been misinterpreted.
