norseman 424
Just had some smelly b*****d get into my car last night, parked in the drive and took a small amount of money. no damage (the locks on the car are playing up). but around the house is pitch black at night. so can any one recommend security lights? is there any good solar type ones? LED any good? or are the traditional ones best to go with. i want it fairly bright and motion activated. theres just so many to choose from i haven't the baldiest. cheers people

norseman 424
thanks lads, lights my best option. in all fairness if a catch them on cctv the cops still don't do anything. the c**ts get let back out. i seen local cctv recently on facebook of a guy doing the same. the b*****d was dressed like a ninja. so it really wont do any good. i think a good light will make most of them scarper. thanks for the input lads. oh and fixing the locks in the car

Norseman, the normal halogen type floodlights are ok but can tend to blow lamps regularly, but they are pretty cheap to buy in the first place. led ones are more expensive to buy in the first place but wont cost you much after that [ far cheaper on the electric bill as well ]
squab 2,875
Yeah iv just remembered mine are on a switched fused spur, either way never turned off though
Chid 6,640
Only thing with lights is you get used to them coming on when cats and such pass and then don't bother to look out ... Most thiefs will just carry on there business when an outside light comes on
