I've ran three birches that ran into double figure 1 if them to 12 and another to 13, got the most stuff in one night with one of them when she was 8

6 seems a bit early, dose she have injuries, looks a good stamp of bitch

I think 6 is early now mate after hearing other lads opinions she's not carrying any injuries if the ground too firm she'll go lame on her stoppers but she's been a good bitch for staying injury free and cheers mate she a fair size got a decent chest on her.

I bred my bitch at 8 ,in hind sight I wish I'd have done it at about 6,for a couple of reasons.

1. It would have been easier on her

2. She'd have had an apprentice waiting to take over when she slowed down.

3.if she produced decent pups there would have been time to breed her again,

4. If the mating didn't click with the sire I could have tried another route.

5. She could have died at any time, whilst working.and you won't get chance them

If she's proven herself over 5 seasons you a're not going to see anything in the next 2 years that will make her more worthy

those are the things that I've been thinking about bud I was going to line her a year or two ago but decided to hang on till id seen abit more of her and she aged and was better proven... I didn't want to line her she have the pups out on the land one day and... she spews it. Id be guttered about the bitch but more so about the pups. I like to tell my self I'm breeding for right reasons and for what I've seen with my own eyes I think it's worth taking the line forward but this is IMO. I'm gonna try take a litter from her this year and slow things down hopefully she still be going to bring pups on.. atb mate
