Glyn ,do you choose a stud on its size ,its work or its relationship to the bitch intended or a combo of all .Pm if preferred .

I use a combo , and i like to use a stud from a litter with a few dogs in it , working out how they all work and picking which i think is the best and tinytiger you read it right ,

I love reading how you do things Glyn. Fox dropper, you've got some good wisdom too.

Cheers Mosby, its all trial and error, i've bred good terriers together got very low % workers spent years rearing terriers which have failed at the job, but the ones you get that you could take any where and they would never let you down make it worth it , the biggest problem with this game is when you've been in it long enough to look like you know what your doing with the breeding your getting to old for the digging , although i've never been a fast digger , as i knew the dog would stay lol :)

I couldn't of put that better Glyn, age is a horrible thing. I've nevet wanted to be one of those terrier men that hangs on to who he used to be, a false identity so to speak. I don't think I'll be in it for many more years myself but the decision was taken out of my hands.
