Any good stockman should be able to judge proportions of food needed to keep his stock in working condition when I kept lurchers I'd feed small amount in the morning and a good feed up after work just like my self work em hard feed em well cooked or raw imo doesn't mater

Sunday mornings, up early and down to the butchers we a bin bag, climb over gate, take your pick, plus her catches, greedy little bugger is Nell, i normally take a ginsters pasty out with us on our mooch, she thinks its for her, she gets a smell of the package, sits back and whatches me shift it

Here's one for you on another thread I have posted pics of bron at the end of the day looking skinny compared to the start. Now next weekend we are off on a 4 day hike in mountainous terrain I'm expecting to double his food which will be 2kg more or less, now as I normally feed him meat and veg would it be better to feed biscuits instead for these days?
