i was crazy on fish tanks at one point and was keeping cariba phiranas what me and a mate imported from peru to be honest they was quiet shy fish always skulking at the back of the tank hiding but come alive at night time when the house was quiet and lights dimmed i used to feed them day old chicks and mice they whuld demolish them in about 10 seconds after a few years of keeping and learning what they like and dislike and having the tank set to ther liking it was a risk to put your hand the tank if it needed cleaning i whuld over feed them and turn the big light on in the tank to put my hands in i never got bitten doing it like this
