Gtbaker369 44
Hi all, Just a beginner question really. What's is the best sort of elastic to use and what are the differences between them, I've seen some numbers which obviously relate to somet? Differences in flat compared to tubes? Cheers all
engr82 71
Theraband double gold bands are the best for hunting I think.
Gtbaker369 44
Ye I've heard of that for the flat bands, seems to be pretty popular
roosika 110
Although flats are fast they last no time at all ! Dankung 1745 good tubes will fire 9.5steel -12mm lead hunting and target
Gtbaker369 44
So what do the numbers relate to then?
roosika 110
1745 is 17th of mm inside diameter and 45mm outsids diameter
Longers7 720
If your just starting out then forget about double theraband, just use single theraband cut at 25mm wide and use 9.5 mm steel ball bearings as ammo or m.8 hexnuts, I never use flats anymore as they last no time at all, I use looped 1745's with m.8 hexnuts for all my hunting, tubes also last about 10 times longer than flats as well, I've got a nice catty for sale that comes with looped tubes if your interested? Gtbaker369 44
So is there a general rule in terms of thickness compared to speed or difficulty to draw?
roosika 110
Erm in the dankung range there numbers , in the dub dub range its colours and depedns in other.tubes
Gtbaker369 44
So what's the difference in performance based on the different thicknesses? Are the thinner better or are thicker better but harder to draw etc?
roosika 110
Thicker are harder but suits biggers ammo
