CushtyJook 1,097
He will obviously loose muscle mass and condition sat around And if in pain won't have a appetite If your down near Peterbrough seek out George drake and take the dog to see him and ask his advice. Thank you , unfortunately no where near Peterborough, and yes it has to just be muscle and condition as he is eating plenty and appetite doesn't seem to be effected, also having chews and bones to keep him occupied so he doesn't get bored Bieng in a cage for large amounts of time

Worth getting a good bone man to check him over. There isn't really such a thing as a slipped disk.

Nobody slips a disc. The discs don't slip anywhere. They herniate or rupture. I ruptured 2 discs myself last April and it wasn't until I had x-rays and say down with a chiropractor that I realised how complex the spine is. The discs contain a gel like fluid, a minor injury would be a bulged disc. A major injury is a herniated disc where the fluid leaks out and over the nerves. This causes excruciating pain. It's good that he is making improvements but it really could be anything without an x-Ray or consultation with a bone and skeletal specialist. All the best.
