Squirrels And The R10

Recommended Posts

A couple of weeks ago i bought a fac BSA R10 as i have aquired some permisions for squirrels in woods. I have been experimenting with various pellets and settled on Crosman premiers ultra magnums 14.3 grn. I have also put a couple of squirrel feeders out and i decided i would go and give it a bash this morning. In 2 1/2 hours i managed to shoot fifteen squirrels and a jay, however i only found thirteen and i dropped one of them out of my bag on the way back. :icon_redface:

With the crosmans it's running about 28ftlbs, i think i only shot three directly off the feeder the rest where either on the ground under the feeder or in the tree the feeder is attached to.

Did you eat any of them?

No i didn't, i know they are supposed to be good but just too rat like for me :bad: They haven't been wasted though, as they make good fox fodder. ;)
