MoChara 1,632
Anyone have plans on incubating and or any broodies? I was thinking of hatching a few magpie ducks for personal use this year, I've a 48 egg incubator but never had anymore than 11 eggs at a time, as I don't rehome/sell poultry just keep what I hatch. Was stressful last year with the hot hot 2 weeks we had the humidity and temp was all over the place. I've not had broodies wish I did though be more natural lol What yous got in the pipeline?

Donna Wildwood 288
I have a pekin x sablepoot banty with a clutch of 7 chicks, hatched a week ago. I love my bantams, and the cockerels are just the right size for one each at the table

Chicken_man 1,651
Thanks Mo :-) Got a broody sitting real tight just now, and a wee batch in the incubator. Much prefer using broodys, but if you want early chicks that's when the incubator comes in. Atb
