Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Is there a door that closes behind them ground level or does it rely on them needing to get away from the smoke .If there's a door then its single catch only ,if not what's to stop it returning to ground as I've seen it many times when they are approached .Just curious. Tiercel 6,986
There is a door at the bottom just held closed by gravity. When they bolt they push the door open and as they pass the door it closes behind them. There are some photos on here of two and three rabbits in the traps at the same time. Socks photos are the first time I have seen them used for rats. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/291498-bolt-traps/page-2 TC Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
There were four rats in that bolt trap by the end of the session but horrendous hailstones stopped me taking a picture ....... Quote Link to post
