pianoman 3,587
Saw 8 on one of my permissions at about 5pm the other evening. The most i have seen at any one time for years. I will be leaving them well alone as no damage is being caused. atb I share that view too regarding no damage being done. I see one or two about nibbling a bit of grass and I think it's a bugger if we can't let them eat a bit of grass in peace, out of a meadow full. Besides there has to be a bit of balance. I know farmers do not like rabbits, kitts or anything at all. Where I see one, they will see a hundred!. But, I'm the one doing the rabbit shooting and I leave the little ones alone to give them a chance of life and provide me with more sport for the pot later down the line! As long as I am seen keeping the numbers down, there's no problem. As it is, I tell them the truth. I shoot the lot I see out, in my scope range and that's the end of it. 1 Quote Link to post
