When To Add Nest Bowel For Breeding Mules

Just wondering when or should I already have them in and should I have some ever green in too . I'm tryin for mules bout 5 pairs an Siskin cock x goldfinch. hen. Don't want give myself to much to do . I'm feeding greens soaked seed bit eggfood every other day dandelions are out so bin Putin them in to . Any thing I missing please say .

For mules i'd have them in allready mate,i got a few native hens starting to nest outside so a canary hen and native cock should be ready to breed and produce for you by now..Good luck and let us know who you get on :thumbs: .

Personally I think it's a bit early , you could end up with clear eggs , there's no rush m let the weather pick up a bit . Once they have had some sun on there backs and plenty of daylight they will be keen as mustard . As for the soak seed and egg food , it's not necessary until the chicks hatch ,just give them plenty of weeds . Put some cover round the nest pans but not to much cover in the aviary or you could find your birds will hide . Good luck mate
