Waz 4,266
Slightly oftopic but but another good commodity is to apparantly collect pallets as they fetch a few quid per pallet I think it's euro ones tho, not sure my friend mentioned this to me earlier today he had a tipper load full and apparantly makes a bit of money doing it, anybody heard of it before or do it? Few places around me that buy pallets. Will take a look-see and report back! LOL Years ago, I knew a lad that had a little cabstar that went round all the industrial estates collecting pallets, the ones that had no value to the buyers a few old boys used to break up and use for fencing, lick of paint, jobs a goodun. Funny enough a mate has asked me for a few to knock up a bit of a pontoon for his lake, must have 10 in the yard at the moment, half of them loaded with roof tiles though. Plenty more where they came from though
Born Hunter 17,783
Does the scrap price roughly track the iron ore price? I guess it would, both being the raw product for the steel industry right? The ore price is rock bottom and looks to drop further. Just curious...
