Went for a walk along the shore at low water today and picked these scollops for myself. They should be nice fryed in garlic butter and some bacon piEces.

Sorry four lurcher. This the best I can do. Tea time came earlier than I thought. I had them cooked and ate before I saw your post. atb j.

monk tails rolled in curry powder and lightly grilled are lovely. Atb j.

The best food you could eat imo. They were just about an hour out of the water before they were opened a quick wash then fryed in a drop of olive oil and garlic butter. I didn't go for the bacon pieces. They were great. The best way to eat them is raw straight out of the shell. A wonderful sweet and salty meat. Will have to go walking again on the next low tide lol.

Haven't we had the lowest tides in something like ten years?

that's right yesterday was the lowest one. We saw sand banks here that I never saw dry before. And the weather was great for walking the shore.
