paulus 26
Think I should just revert back to one of those little compact cameras Bill,I'm never gonna learn how to use the darn things..usually I'm not too bad with gadgets but these things you need to be a bloody scientist..what's the point of them calling it 300mm if its 420mm haha..talk about confusing a fellathe lens itself will b 300m but the optical length on a crop sensor would be 420mm but still remain 300mm on a full frame sensor Gotcha lads ..ive been having a read up on Google too,Canon cameras in the main the "crop sensor" ones you just multiply the lens length by 1.6 where as the "full frame" is exactly what it is..waaheeey im getting there..right then ISO next lmao..only kidding folks vinyeting and chromatic aberrations

paddybarr 77
JD has it spot on i have a D7100 and a D3 FX and my go to lens is 70-200mm 2.8 which i use mainly for working pictures and park coursing,i love the FX and the depth and clarity is fantastic but doesn't have the reach that i can achieve with the DX Edited April 3, 2015 by paddybarr

Omanyra 2,518
People think you can get miles, the knack is still to get as close as possible..but it dose get you closer :-) stick a converter on and you get even more, stick it on a Nikon V1 and you get 1350mm equivilent.. One taken with that lens. Edited April 3, 2015 by Omanyra
