xraiderx 94
A blast tamer is something that stops or reduces the hammer bounce Which results in a quieter action plus more shots per fill if still at sub 12ftb Edited March 20, 2015 by xraiderx Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Why not try it at home ? 1 Quote Link to post
xraiderx 94
Why not try it at home ?Well you can try it if you wantIt will not damage the gun in any way But the power will damage your police record Edited March 20, 2015 by xraiderx Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
So adjust it down to 11.5 then you will get even more shots 2 Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
Until the band perishes and then you would be down on power, probably possible to use a spring though. Edited March 20, 2015 by treecreeper 1 Quote Link to post

It also just as easy to make a permanent one Quote Link to post

It also just as easy to make a permanent one Be a worthwhile mod if its more consistant and more shots. Is it not just using more air and that's where the up in power is coming from? I would guess that the elastic is slowing the hammer down and therefore letting more air through. Edited March 20, 2015 by treecreeper Quote Link to post
xraiderx 94
There is a post on BSAOG explaining this in more detail I did it to see the difference in hammer bounce (noise reduction in the action) And it dose But with more pressure on the hammer obviously the power will go up So then you have to adjust the internals which I'm not confident enough to do And after such a good job Phil Ratworks crampton has done It's staying as it is.
