white van man 3,329
He hunts with a saluki collie grey coursing dog out the same bitch whip x saluki which makes him look slow but catches well on the lamp he was breed for the reds really Got you mate. Pretty much the same type as my dog so suppose if your comparing the 2 dogs he might come off slower. But probably quick for his x. If he's doing what you ask then that's good enough. morton 5,368
lets see some pics lads of your smaller types and how they bred,beddy/whip im guessing quite common seen pics of a few whip/collie that look handy enough as well,i do like the idea of a straight whippet but want something a bit more robust shall we say, even the price of them frightens me lol had a little saluki/grey collie whip myself few year ago 21tts but lost her unfortunately on a night out, seen very few of this type although know few lads got them. so im thinking ahead and may well be looking at getting my lad a nice small type for when we out bushing, something quick off the mark that can zip up and down hedgerows on quite rough land in places, hopefully picking up the odd bunny, something he can call his own thats capable, just interested in whats out there that might suit our needs. so cmon lets do my lad a favour and get plenty pictures up of the smaller types give him something to think about thanks In reality smaller is not what you require.
