trappa 518
Im looking at getting a new 4x4 and was just wondering if i was to get an lpg motor or a motor that was potentially an lpg conversion, do you pay as much tax as a petrol and diesel as the 4x4s seem to be getting a hammering on tax ( rightly or wrongly) cheers

harrycatcat 31
I had my 1985 Range Rover V8 converted to LPG about 2 years ago it does not do more miles to the gallon but I pay 39p a litre, just filled it up yesterday and the man told me its going up 4.5p a litre next week. Still cheaper than petrol though. Give us shout if you want more info. ps My mate fitted it for £200 the kit cost £400 odd but thats 2 year back.
