pesky1972 5,265
About 95% eclipse in Central Scotland where I was, and visible about 95% of the time. Everyone at work stopped for about half an hour to watch it so can't complain..., it added a but of interest to an otherwise dull Friday shift.

Head must be a fcukin bampot. But, before the 'usual suspects' start getting their blood pressure up ....another (non-white) dad of a pupil at the school quoted as saying "I'm Muslim myself and in my religion it doesn't say we can't watch it. 'I don't know anything about it but if they say it's because of religion maybe they could have spoken to those people who had a problem and let the other kids enjoy it. 'It shouldn't be spoiled for the rest of the school." My kids also weren't allowed outside and had to watch it on 'smartboards' in class. Nothing to do with 'cultural and religious grounds', just think that the teachers didn't trust them all not to look directly at the sun. Knowing how fcukin stupid mine are I don't blame them. dare 1,103
Pesky i was coming here just to moan about this same thing lol. Sister come home n said they werent allowed out. Ffs get told dont look so dont look if your a nosey f****r well youll learn your lesson. It dont do f**k all anyway i remember looking at it when younger and ive spent hours watching porn and played so much xbox i used to have a piss bottle, still dont wear glasses. Sane sort of shit i saw on the news today to do with kids getting hurt playing rugby..ffs its the game lol. abit like kids being young n climbing garage roofs n fences. someones gonna fall through n get hurt but you accept the odds n just accept it. same as getting abit of bird when youve done wrong. It is what it is get on with it. sure i remember reading they even banned conkers in the playground lol country is run by cowards raising a bunch of poofs.
