Double Can Pick Up

Recommended Posts

Think I'm gunna buy one end of year or start of next year looking at something that does reasonable mpg most of all reliability and basically a hardy motor that I can have for a good few year and use as a all round motor town driving aswell as long distance so far from looking around izuzu motors seem to be a decent motor

They will all do you well.

I have an L200 and suits me down to the ground. On my second one now and I wouldn't swap it for anything else to be honest.

MPG is killed on mine as it is on Cooper STT mud tyres but that does mean that you don't get stuck which, with the low miles the pickup does I value more!

With road tyres on and on a long run it was giving 39mpg on the trip computer which surprised me!

If I was you I would set my budget and then see what you can get within that money and choose the best condition, milage, spec etc example that you can and not worry too much about the make!

Were do I start 63 pltd invincible.from new clutch squeaking.rear brake shoes rubbing.clutch smell.tyre tracking out.air con barely cold.radio gone nuts.tailgate don't close properly.Toyota have been totally useless.I kicked up and they put a new clutch in it.could not do tracking don't have big enough machine for truck tyres .rubbed shoes down with sand paper.still shit.I've bought old Isuzu crabbers with 100.000 + miles on off eBay and never been let down.hilux = show truck.Isuzu = workhorse.....oh and today water in filter light on another fault I'm told by a mate.

Suppose that it's a fairly bad point

Not really the guy loves it, and to be fare he tows alot, so that won't do it any good, they recon the Dmax is superd, and i think thats my next buy, there's issues with them all, its like owt else a little bit of a gamble, but generally speaking they are good buses, I sat in one of the Chinese great wall things about a month ago, and to be fair, you could see why they are cheap, but it went across the fields well,
