paul71pc 0
Just brought a second hand AirArms S410, it seems a different filling point than my last s410 and won't fill the riffle up with air. Quote Link to post

Looks like the t bar section is missing, the part that holds the female filling adaptor on Quote Link to post
jamesS410 106
The missing t section shouldn't make much difference, they are both the new style fitting. When you say it won't fill do you mean the air is escaping? If so its likely knackered o-rings on the filler or the guns so low on air its venting straight out through the barrel (in which case try cocking the gun before filling). Alternatively if no air is escaping are you sure your dive cylinder is filled to a higher pressure than the gun (if its below the pressure that's in the gun it obviously can't fill it) or if you're using a pump are the pump seals in good working order? 1 Quote Link to post

Thanks for the reply, air is not escaping, it's filled from a divers bottle, I have fired off about a 100 shots to see if the gauge on the air riffles knackered, it gone from 100 to about 50 on the gauge. Unless the gauge on the gun is knackard Quote Link to post

Unless the gauge on the gun is knackard If youve shot 100 and only used 50 bar then its very eco on air use. Now try filling with the gun cocked so the firing mech aint against the valve. It should fill. PS is there any flow restricters in your whip? could any be stuck in the very small hole in the filler coupling? in there simplest form they are just small balls that block part of the hole if filled too quick.
