mark williams 7,550
Got a nice suprise this evening out walking my GSP. There were well grown young rabbits about along the 500 yd embankment of grassland, shrubs, thickets, brambles etc, etc. I`ve left the rabbits well alone for three years or so as their numbers were very, very low and now we have small numbers back.I initially saw 8 rabbits at 5-07 pm out grazing on the grassland (no damage being caused whatsoever). I will watch their numbers and stick to the "age old rule" - only shoot a rabbit when there is the letter R in the month if you want to manage and "maintain their number for your table" atb Edited March 16, 2015 by mark williams Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
Some one with a brain and not killing there sport Well done Gaz If he has land he can shoot on for "sport" then fine. Many people are allowed to shoot rabbits for pest control, and I get paid to remove rabbits, there is no sentimentality, no sport, just a job to be done, get rid, end of. People seem to confuse these two very different areas all the time. 1 Quote Link to post
