CushtyJook 1,097 Posted March 15, 2015 Report Share Posted March 15, 2015 My lurcher was out walking earlier and was chasing a ball when he suddenly let out a big yelp and fell down and couldn't move his back legs, he been taken to the vets and they think he has a slipped disc he couldn't move atall and was very shaken and is staying over night, has anyone else expeinces this is is common with running dogs Quote Link to post

CushtyJook 1,097 Posted March 15, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 15, 2015 Thank you, yes Ive been advised plenty of rest when he's home and to keep in in a big dog cage and they are giving me a sling to support his back legs so I can take him out for toilet outside, apparantly won't be able to even go for a walk for around a month or two and I don't think he'll be doing any major running agian, he's around 8 years now and hasn't been out lamping or anything for a while now and Probally never will agian now Quote Link to post
