gnasher16 30,046
Without wishing to sound rude Jetro your diet before must of been terrible !.....Any weight loss will require you to use up more calories than your taking in so the general basic figure being 500 - 1000 calories per week for a 1 - 2 pound loss.......you do the maths of the amount of calories you were theoretically taking in before. Well done though mate your living again now

MoChara 1,632
I've only ever been on one diet, pain in the arse I like food far far too much, but I don't eat a lot of crap - I'm more a savoury than a sweet person. I'm 5ft 1" (an a bit) and just over 8stone - used to be only 7stone 9 till I got wee muscles  Edit to add, I don't eat breakfast so that's not great! Only lunch dinner and nighttime munch while watching abit of tv Edited May 4, 2015 by MoChara

But it down to your genes , because both of my parents were slim people, so just took after them. but I do lot of walking summer+winter , either just mooching about, riding my bike with my dog , or lamping in winter . I think my son will be similar to me, he is bit smaller 5ft 10 11 st 4 lb , very fit plays lot of football and trains down the gym regular , I do think it is all genes as said by your (bone structure) as you can get 2 blokes 6ft one big bone the other slim bone, one will go 13st the other 11 st both are right for the genes

Full of fries home made breads with 2 inches of butter then 4 inches of cheese on top. I won't mention the sweet cakes lol. In all fairness a lot has to do with a person's mentality as well. It's easy when you reach a certain age to let yourself slide a bit. Then it's goes of control. Atb j.
