offtheradar 175
Hello mate, can you give some more details on spec, age, condition and whether any parts have been changed or upgraded. Buying a second hand bike can be a bit of a lottery but hopefully you have bought a decent one.

Now just do mt biking in spring/summer once hunting's finished with some road work and especially on the hills of which there are lots of them where I live. I'd rather spend £185 on a looked after second hand bike than some of the pseudo mtbs available
Fieldsporthunter 1,864
Can anyone that into mountainbikes tell me what going out in the pitch black with more lights attached than Blackpool alluminations is all about.
gnasher16 30,062
I was over in Cyprus last month cycling around the Troodos mountains on my first ride on a moving bike since childhood !!.....Riding round London/Essex never really appealed to me but a bit of clean air and beautiful scenery has given me a longing for more of the same so i guess that old saying rings true..." its just like riding a bike "

Is it a new sport to go down downhill tracks on a night?

When I used to do the Sleepless in the saddle and Red Bull 24 hour races even the pros didn't have anything like it. Now you can have a football stadium floodlight strapped to your bike just to go to the shops
ChrisJones 7,975
Bike lights now have to compensate for the light from mobile phone screens.
