Low Carb Diet

Recommended Posts

Been getting on with a low carb diet of late, & not been doing too bad.

Im on the last hole on my belt, gone down 3 notches already, gonna have to put some new holes in it!!!!

Too anyone wondering wadafuq is that, its basically no breads pastas potatoes beer sugars - carbohydrates, so that your body starts using up the stored fat around the body.

Anyone else doing this or had a good go.

Same here , been on a low carb diet for 6 weeks , lost 12 pounds on it... I feel better than I have ever done , eating around 250 grms of chicken a day . greens , no bread or spuds which I don't eat a

Bit dodge not eating any crabs,,, isn't that called ketosis or something like that,,,, think your body eats up muscle as well as fat when the body is like that   Keep the carbs low yes,,,, but don't

I've never set foot in a gym, but I have gone through periods of cycling hard, without changing a thing with my diet & I've lost a bit weight......an active lifestyle has to better than doing f**k

I love all that stuff too much & I'm still only a 32" waist......so I'll hold off for a while yet, but my brother follows the same & he's done really well, for over a year now....Atb

Same here , been on a low carb diet for 6 weeks , lost 12 pounds on it... I feel better than I have ever done , eating around 250 grms of chicken a day . greens , no bread or spuds which I don't eat anyway .. plenty of fresh fruit . I have stopped craving surgery foods & I cant believe how well I feel , got tons of energy & my aim is to shift another stone or there a bouts

Highly recommend it , this will be a complete lifestyle change for me , my ex husband had a stroke last Nov & has just been told he has heart failure he is only 44 , after heart surgery & having to have a pace maker fitted it occurred to me that if i carried on abusing my body my son may well loose both parents in the next few years .... bit of a no brainer really

Good luck with it waz

Done Carb cycling...

A balanced diet is better than restricting your self..

Eat clean with lots of fruit and veg - Fad things don't last.

Been there and done it..

Don't get me wrong i ain't knocking what you're doing and its worked so far, but is it sustainable and pleasurable ??

Personally I ditch the sugars, bread & junk and go for meat and veg with complex carbs chucked in..

Avoid processed foods - eat fruit, nuts , veg and good protein sources.

I like eating indians thats my downfall lol mind you should have a treat every now and then..

No point being thin and miserable..

So what is you average daily food in take then

So what do you eat ...

Tuna, boiled egg, air dried raw sausage, roasted chicken, sliced meats, them frankfurter things, beefburgers, sausages.

For snacking been making sure I got whole almonds handy, or a boiled egg. A bit of fruit,

Hardest thing im going without is pizza's and couscous, finishing work and going to the bakers at 4am for a baguette straight out the oven.

I'd normally eat big once a day, but most of the stuff im eating is sort of convenient/snack type which im spreading out. A lot less hungry, not craving carbs which I did at the start, probably still eating wrong and too much, but am going in the right direction. Food bills gone up though. Had a dodgy ankle for a few years, lot better with loosing a stone (7kg?) and hopefully another 3 or 4 kg will follow.

Need a plan for long term, my biggest problem is myself, greedy fcuker and working shifts dont help.

I dont think it starts on the muscle until its ate all the fat..Its not meant has a long trm thing..With the Atkin diet you gradually increase carbs to a low but healthy level after you have lost the fat..

fair play to anybody who sticks to a diet and loses their desired weight loss, right im lighter now than i was at at twenty, what do i eat, get up its either a big bowl of porridge or poached egg on brown toast, fruit from 10am onwards, teatime chicken breast with all veg plate stacked high, get back in with dogs after 22.00 and have small cornflakes i do that 7 days a week with jack spuds chucked in twice a week and i lose two pound a week, i went right down to 10 stone but didnt feel right so sitting great at 10stone 6 was perfect, im.now back up to 11.2 but been having some party times recently so first week back on it again.. find your happy weight and injoy.
