Tremo 138
I owned a HMR for a while. A lovely, accurate rifle .......... if the weather was in your favour. A touch of wind and I found that the accuracy was no better than me throwing stones at the target. I always shoot on mountainous terrain, so yes it is ALWAYS windy here. Long story short I could find very little use for the rifle and coupled with this, the utter ball-ache involved in cleaning that tiny bore (rods bending etc.) put the final nail in the coffin. My current tools are - a .22LR for close range bunny bashing, a .22-250 for anything that I need to poke at a longer range, and a .223 for everything overlapping. 1 Quote Link to post
