Good Hour Passed

Recommended Posts

Finished work at 3 today and headed out with the terriers for an hour took the two russells an the misses old paterdale. Parked up an let dogs s out and walked down an old closed of road thats got a big wood on left hand side. Anyhows my Russell dogs the main hunter as the bitch has only jus turned a year he picled his nose an off he went tem mins passed an silence still jus the odd crackle of branches to let me know they were still plodding an out pops a very small vixen so I expected to see the dogs somewhere around as my main hunt was on the bunnies. Anyhows stood gettin soaked alittle longer an a rabbit passed over an into a burrow then. Thenthe old dog opened up along with the pup on an off for five mins or so seen the russell dog flyin a head an dissapeared again followed by other two. This happened for alittle while on goin yaps then out came a another bunny followed by a huge dog fox only ten feet or so apart with my russell on tail an the other two behind him. I stood on the same spot for fifty mins jus watching them in the pissing rain an smiled as it all unfolded back home an dried off now jus thought id share as I really enjoyed myself

I've got a beddy whip that does abit of flushing but won't go in the tight stuff that's why I've got him, already the walks are more interesting.. He should pick it up in summer abit more an hopefully turn in to a good dog
