flynndog 543
Yeah ... viscous coupling that gives 4wd % ain't got em as too expensive for people when go wrong they give the "it gives better mpg without it excuse" and if it's td4 one the clutches can be a tw@t.

Joe1888 672
model before were bad for head gaskets, not sure about that one
Rake aboot 4,935
Avoid. Worst car I have ever owned. The build quality is shocking. Viscous couplings go. Smart arses remove them, sell the car, and forget to mention it is now only 2 wheel drive. They really are crap.

dustyj 63
Had one don't think I would get another. One thing after another f***ing update
shepp 2,285
There are loads on the road still, I notice they rarely show rust. I have the Freelander 2, completely different vehicle, but I know they can have a few issues too.
Barky 24
I had one a few years back 1.8 petrol, it went bang after about 6 months, would advise against getting one!!
stealthy1 3,964
Off road abilities are second to none, but you need a fat wallet to keep them sweet, because parts are not cheap, and they eat parts faster than a stray dog can eat a bag of chips
stevo79 569
Had one never again plagued with head gasket problems.
shepp 2,285
I am told the best ones are when LR was owned by BMW, so for a few years a BMW engine was fitted.
squab 2,875
I now got one for sale if anyone's interested lol
Skull Hooker 185
Avoid it like a two bob whore. Mine was a 52 plate. If the weather was too cold, sort of below -5 degrees, it wouldn't start. The glow plug kit isn't powerful enough to warm the pots. In that really cold winter we had a couple of years ago, it was on the drive for three weeks. The sunroof stopped working, the windscreen leaked and two gauges were US, (cant remember which) Really...if you don't listen to anything else I ever say...just listen to this..and avoid
