Fender 0
The farmers just put up one of those kite things that's supposed to look like a hawk. He has other scarers out there that the pigeons ignore....I've not had a chance to watch the area yet, but was wondering i what people think....do they scare pigeons or will they get used to it. Denny essex 15
Pigeon can get used to any scarer IMHO, the knack is they have to keep being moved every 2 to 3 days to stand any chance of working. I have seen pigeon feeding in numbers around a gas banger on rape , every time it went off they jumped a metre in the air and came back down and carried on feeding, Recently I decoyed an area where pigeon were feeding on rape, I set up 100 metres from a hawk scarer, I decoyed 1 bird the hawk 100 plus , I should have sat with the hawk.
