Do I have a chance of liscence?

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light. About 6 years ago I was in a brawl in a pub and ended up in court. I was convicted of ABH. I had never been in trouble with the police before or since. I was wondering if I stood a chance at getting a shotgun licence? I have thousands of acres that I would be able to use it on. Any information would be appreciated.

yes mate, you go for it! everyone is entitled to make mistakes in their lives. there is a very good chance of getting a shotty licence, as long as you have good reason ...and you do have.... go for it!

you sould have no probs if you show them you have got past that stage in life you will be ok. tell them your keen to clay shoot to gain experiance.and when thay come to assess you just be yurself . all ways put safty first goodlook let us know how you do.RYE ps if you get it and have abit of land to go on they carnt stop you going for a firearms to but one thing at a time

:11: your main police head quarter's should be able 2 tell you if you still have a

charge if not go for it they cant deny you.You have have kept out of troble since

& we all make mistake's
