I think it could be. I wish I knew how to do proper first aid. Always wished I'd done a course on CPR or something. I know what to do during someone having a seizure but that's personal experience. Wo

As said ST John's Ambulance do quite a few different levels from the basics up to first responder , 1 to 5 day courses. Members of the public can apply, they are reasonably priced and if you successfu

Would love to learn properly - you never know when you'd need it. So I think it'd be a good idea, even secondary school or something, I'd of done it in a heartbeat

If you don't mind me asking mad4it is your first aid due to work purposes or could you do it just to have it? If I was wanting to do it do I need a reason such as work etc or is there a place that does training for personal reasons.

Also, I'd also say that if you think it's important you could sort it out yourselves, maybe have first aid training for the whole family.

in my eyes anyone that does any fieldsports should have basic first aid, because as already said you never know when you are going to need it if not on you it might be some one else.

Have a word with St John's I think they do open days throughout the country that are open and may ask for a small donation of some kind.
