The powers that be would rather teach them this crap instead children as young as 11 will learn about rape at school
MoChara 1,632
I think it could be. I wish I knew how to do proper first aid. Always wished I'd done a course on CPR or something. I know what to do during someone having a seizure but that's personal experience. Would love to learn properly - you never know when you'd need it. So I think it'd be a good idea, even secondary school or something, I'd of done it in a heartbeat

MoChara 1,632
If you don't mind me asking mad4it is your first aid due to work purposes or could you do it just to have it? If I was wanting to do it do I need a reason such as work etc or is there a place that does training for personal reasons.

MrAlex 4
My daughters have been taught it at school (primary school) but I'm not sure if that's just their school or if it's part of the new curriculum.
MrAlex 4
Also, I'd also say that if you think it's important you could sort it out yourselves, maybe have first aid training for the whole family.

Have a word with St John's I think they do open days throughout the country that are open and may ask for a small donation of some kind.
