Looking to buy my first proper rifle I have around £500 to spend mainly used for rabbits rats and pigeons anyone got any ideas on what's best for me thanks guys!

But as he's actually posted in an air rifle catagory, let's assume he's without an FAC and needs an air rifle of proper quality.

 

For £500. I would be going for a major spring rifle. Some genuine beauties for the money.

HW99S/SANDWELL FIELD SPORTS IMP ( Heard good things about these.)

 

There would be a bit of change left over too here.

I am also looking for a gun in that price bracket and as Piano man has listed some real nice rifles I can't add to that list.

What I would say is are you thinking springer ?. Do you like break barrel or under lever.

Are you up for a heavy gun or do you want a lighter gun. Is your price just for the rifle or do you want a package of bag sight etc all for that price ?.
