neil cooney 10,416
So, here's one for you cooney, co, . I don't know what shite who havewworked all your life,. But is the such thing as a (workin lakelands), strain. And is the such thing as a Patterdale,, ? LOL, what's this got to with me, LOL. Personally I call white terriers white terriers, I call all the fell types fell types and I don't give a shit about borders, plummers ,bedlingtons etc. as 9 times out of 10 they're owned by dreamers. What's most important to me regarding terrier types is the name of the breeder not the name of the breed. It means nothing to me as I once bred a litter with blacks, black and tans and reds in it. I know of two lines of white terriers that come from black dogs and I know of two lines of blue terriers that are down of black and tans. And yes their is such a thing as Patterdale. It's a village in the North of England. That's the only opinion I have on the subject and the only terriers I give a damn about are the ones I feed. 1 Quote Link to post

Pick and bar 381
Mine will finish with me, I'd rather let the working lakeland become extinct, before I bow to em. I've had lads ask for half the litter for stud fee. MADNESS. Got a very hard b+t here and a baying red dog for folk to use. Too close to mine for breeding. 2 Quote Link to post

MIK 4,756
Solid little lad, hope he comes good for you. Yes Fatman the breed is fading. Look back to the 80's and 90's to see what has gone in our time. We need enthusiates to keep and test em proper, not chasing red rosettes.very true but the prices need to come down too, even working men want 350 a pup, too much Fecking hell I gave £250 for him off a mate works and shows them.we bred his mother and then he put his father back onto her and got him.i know where ya coming from price wise but I think what I paid would be the norm for a terrier or lurcher these days when you have cross breed Danny lickers going for more than pure Breds. Some mate ,!!! 1 Quote Link to post
