FERRETBOY 680
cheers again. I just wished I didn't have the problems with insurance and I could have been getting out a lot more driving everywhere finding new ground. However I still got lots of footage to put up so that will keep me busy for a few weeks. Quote Link to post

FERRETBOY 680
Its healing very well boyo vets are really happy with it. I think It helps the healing process when they are on a natural diet like rabbit, im also feeding her a high protein greyhound food hoping it helps with tissue re growth. Fly is happy anyway, trying to run about and play with the pup. Thanks for asking boyo. Quote Link to post

FERRETBOY 680
If fly was fresh then I think it could have been a different outcome. I remember the night before when we were lamping, right at the end of the night fly had two long runs on big rabbits, the first one was up and down the stone wall for 30 seconds but turn after turn as it tried to get to a gap through the wall. Eventually it got through and you could see fly was fecked but then another one jumped up and I said to the lads just keep the lamp on. I bet they thought I was stupid but I knew she would pull off if it was to much for her, but she stayed behind its arse and again for a further 30 seconds this run is the same with the big bunny trying to reach the same exit. Fly yapping by now on each turn but she looked to be gaining and bullying her target. I decided to shout "shut it" across the field to her and then within a second her last strike ended the run against the wall. I was so pleased and proud she was the only dog that evening to catch a big rabbit after two gruelling chances. Quote Link to post
