hi all just bought a S/H brno .22rf mod 2-e and fancy getting the barrel shortened by a couple inches so I can do away with factory front sight and get it recut.

so do you nice people have any idea on what it will set me back .

and secondly where is best to get it done up in the north east ??

should be roughly £40 to £60 quid without having to be reproffed

thanks mate but a bit far away would prob cost me more in fuel than I paid for rifle

The whole myriad of reproofing after threading is a complete grey area,and some smiths recommend it,some don't.

I know James does a cracking job for what some may charge way over £100.

You could always post the rifle to him, or anyone you chose if distance is an issue,minus the bolt of course.
