bet that was point and shoot with the 22-250?never had one but like you say great to have that confidence of knowing its smack on.

Cheers Mike. I now zero an inch high at 150 yards and that gives me approx a 2.2" drop at 300 yards so yeah practicly point and shoot. It's an excellent calibre very fast and flat and more importantly extremely destructive and humane.

i have heard they are loud ? agreed better to have to much gun than to little.nice rapid responce job done

I have a Jet-Z CQB on my 22-250, and it still gives quite a boom when its fired. I would hate to think of one being fired un-moderated. You are one hell of a man Dan!

Haha just had another call off the same chap he had 2 foxes got their with no socks on as I was about to go bed ready for early morning at work. Managed to get blisters on my feet off my wellies and 2 dog foxes ;)

Their was a 3rd but was skylined so no safe shot. The first was shot at 70 yards the 2nd at 110 yards. 1st headshot and 2nd quick chest shot as I thought he would have run with the lamp.

Very happy hunter and landlord lol.

Right quick oil the rifle for another night them I'm off to bed

Cheers Paul. Couldn't be happier, its strange because in the 10 minutes it takes me to get their they are still about. After hearing the car pull up and getting my wellies jacket and rifle ready you'd have thought they'd have been gone. Beauty of that permission is their is a few of houses and a busy road so I suppose they are used to a lot of natural noise.
